Headline Act - ESCAPING TIME
Escaping Time is a boundary-blurring collaboration between harpist Valeria Clarke, guitarist and producer Peter Michaels, and Brazilian percussionist Marcinho Pereira. The group weave together classical music, electronica, and South American grooves. With influences from Eric Satie, Brian Eno, Goldie, and Heitor Villa-Lobos, they perform unique versions of well-known pieces together with their own original compositions.
Support act: No Wahala Sound Orchestra
The Orchestra plays an eclectic mix of World Music, with inspirations from Sub-Saharan African Music, Arabic Music, Gypsy Music, Folk, Blues/Jazz. All compositions performed are original, with bandleader Johnny Moody (Bass Guitar & Vocal), Paul Carey(Drums), Ania Nizio (Vocals), Trevor Carr(Guitar), Ian Solomon (Guitar), Henry Knudsen (Sax), and Iyaz Awan(Percussion).
